In case you missed it, Dave and Charlotte Hormann are now at the helm of Nelson Truck Repairs & Spares! With over 30 years of experience in the diesel mechanical industry, Dave brings a deep wealth of knowledge and hands-on expertise to the workshop. Charlotte is your friendly face in the office — keeping things running smoothly and always happy to assist with any questions.
We’re passionate about delivering reliable, honest service and building lasting relationships with our valued customers — both familiar faces and new ones.

Nelson Truck Repairs & Spares specialise in looking after small to medium sized trucks and commercial vehicles. We work with a number of large companies to maintain and service their fleet to a high standard. We are a small business too, so we understand that cost and time is everything, we know what trucks are coming in from one month to the next so we can get them in and out as quickly as possible and we notify the owners when their vehicle is due for its next COF or service.
With fully qualified heavy automotive technicians in the workshop, Dave has extensive knowledge and hands-on expertise experience. His background spans from truck and trailer servicing, earthmoving equipment, agricultural machinery.

Oh by the way – When Nelson Truck Repairs & Spares team aren’t in the office or the workshop, you’ll probably find them with rod and reel in hand. We’re mad about fishing and usually on a Monday the discussion is usually around fishing, what we caught and how big it was (especially the one what got away). And just like any fisherman, as the week goes on though, the fish actually grow in size. Next time you’re in come into the tearoom and have a look at our ‘brag board’ which is packed with photos from the teams past fishing triumphs.
