Repairing a Slipping Clutch

A slipping clutch can be due to the clutch plate wearing or when the pressure plate cannot supply enough clamping force to the clutch plate onto the flywheel.

We’ve just repaired a slipping clutch in a Ford Ranger. Our customer complained that his Ranger didn’t speed up when he accelerated, although the revs went up.

Repaired in no time, customer happy and back on the road for the weekend.

If you’re experiencing a slipping clutch or even noticing a burning smell, call the team at Nelson Truck Repairs & Spares Ltd.

Now open Saturdays mornings by bookings only.
